Onward indeed as Team GB are back in action against Colombia today, now playing for pride and position between 9th and 16th.

Ali Collins has been patched up and is playing the 2v2 singles, currently 4-6 2-0

Ali 4-6 6-2 3-3 deuce.

I'm getting a feeling of deja vu here, but surely one close match has to go in favour of GB...

Arrgh that last game was a real battle on deuce, Ali must have saved 3-4 break points.

Katie wins in straight sets again 6-4 7-5 to level the tie at 1-1.

It's like Groundhog day - can the doubles team win this one or will they be stuck in Madrid forever?

Lose in 3, win in straights, lose in 3, looks what they signed up for this week.

Good good. Getting that win will feel a lot better for them than having lost all 3. And great tournament performance from Katie, supporting the team superbly.
