Quarterfinal

Kenneth RAISMA (EST) / Kristjan TAMM (EST) def. Jay CLARKE (GBR) / Kristofer SIIMAR (EST) [2] 6-3 6-4

Jay is into another G2 final

Semifinal:

Kenneth RAISMA (EST) [1] 6-3 6-4 Thiago SEYBOTH WILD (BRA)

Jay CLARKE (GBR) [2] def Kaya GORE (TUR) 6-3 6-4

He now gets the top seed:

Final:

Kenneth RAISMA (EST) [1] v Jay CLARKE (GBR) [2]

But even if jay loses, that's a net 45 extra points, which I reckon will take him up to about WR 54 or so. Up 50 places in just two weeks

The good think to note is he has very little to defend this year, so any more decent results will only push his ranking up and almost certainly guarantee a visit to the Australian Open.(that is probably guaranteed anyway due to the number of players playing in their final junior year that will drop off the rankings)
I assume Jay Clarke, Curtis Clarke and Yasmin Clarke are all siblings

Yes, they're all siblings.

I think Yasmin has been coaching Jay for a while (before he moved to Sweden).

Curtis, I think, was/is doing some sports sort of university degree.

I also think their dad is a big part of their tennis.

I saw Jay play in June - powerful serve, strong, athletic game, nice to watch.

Jay avenges a defeat from last year by the Estonian to claim back to back titles and put himself in a strong position for entry into next year's grand slams if he wants smile

Final:

(2) Jay Clarke (GBR) d. (1) Kenneth Raisma (EST) 3-6 6-2 6-0

Very good

Maybe the LTA may even take note at some stage ( though some may wonder how good that might be in some aspects )

Excellent couple of weeks, Jay Congrats.

And, yes, Indy, maybe better if the LTA kiss of death doesn't fall his way . . .
