Hmm. 2-1 on serve in the second. Five Brits on court right now (Inglot/Linstedt, two girls doubles pairs, Lapthorne and Reid in wheelchair) ... and none of it is going swimmingly. Come one Messrs Linstedt and Inglot, set a new direction!

Yes, having 5 of 11 courts with Brits on is good. I wish the current scores were better.

A round too far, sadly:

SF:  (12) Pierre-Hugues Herbert & Nicolas Mahut (FRA/FRA) CR 44 (21+23) defeated Dom Inglot & Robert Lindstedt (SWE) CR 71 (39+32) by 5 & 2  cry

Bit of a damp squib at the end, from the sound of it. Would be interested to know from those who saw what it looked like. Still - a magnificent run overall, a fine partnership, and beat several top-notch pairs before losing to this one. Hope that the partnership lasts and flourishes (even potentially going two more rounds at a slam)

What a shame. Really wanted a Brit v Brit final.

But if I had to pick ANY non-Brit whom I wanted to see win a slam, Mahut would be up there on the list. Still hope Jamie/John beat him in the final though.

Enjoyed watching that but Dom and Robert were well outclassed today - the French duo were firing on all cylinders.

Shame there was only a man and his dog in the stands - doesn't say much for doubles if a Grand Slam semi-final barely fills the front two rows.

Ah shame - but a great run for them.
Good luck to JJ later!

Murray and Peers are on now - looks as if they're trying to get everything done before rain calls play.
