Congrats to J&J now #4 in the Doubles Race to London :D

And big congrats to Jamie into the dubs top 10 at new CH world #8 :D

And I believe that Jamie will overtake John ( currently WR 7 on the same points, but from less tournaments ) if he competes in and wins the Davis Cup doubles rubber with his total Davis Cup points then becoming a counter.

Hope you get to watch the Davis Cup tie on TV, John. GB vs AUS, should be good

Don't forget Dom:  he's up six places to 39th, while he & Robert have climbed 46 places to 21st in the Race. wink  Still a bit of a way to go to equal his CH of 18 in May last year, though. hmm

You are two weeks behind. He was 36 prior to the US Open and has now gone up another 13 places to 26 smile

Right though about Dom and Robert's race position

Inglot & Mergea are in 17th place on 1245 points. Inglot & Lindstedt are in 21st place on 970 points.

The combined total of 2215 points would place 11th in the race.

CD has not forgotten both Jamie and Dom in his rankings update in the S.T.E.V.E.N. thread.

There are now 1,250 points separating Mr Murray and Mr Peers from the Bryans in 1st place in the race, and 1,580 points separating them from the 8th place team of Bopanna and Mergea. Much more parity at the very top this year, thanks to the four different GS winners and the Bryans' winning three Masters.

Not me , the ATP - those were the numbers showing on its site shortly before I submitted that post.

The ATP site frequently does that on a Monday. Even after the rankings have been updated the players own page still show the out of date info.

When I went to the ATP site yesterday morning, they were still showing the 31/08/15 rankings. Did wonder if that was down to force of habit after the US Open, which used to play its final on a Monday, so the rankings were never updated until the Tuesday of that week.

More likely though that with a late finish due to a rain delay, they simply hadn't caught up.

Yes. But it got updated a bit later on. However, as RJA says, for quite a while the main list was updated but the individual pages were still showing the old data. Which is often the case (it was like that when I did the list for S.T.E.V.E.N.'s thread) and I don't understand it - how difficult is it to synch the pages together? I'd have thought the individual pages would change automatically when the main board changed - but they don't - which seems weird.

Perhaps more pertinently the final of the Genova challenger wasn't played until Monday morning after it rained all day on Sunday.

I've been caught out like that before!  I think it depends on how early the person responsible for inputting results gets to the office on a Monday morning. I've learnt to check the rankings date in the top left of the screen before I delve deeper.  I did notice something that I've never noticed before when I looked first thing on Monday that will have made you think you were looking at up to date rankings.  Players results included US Open 2015, but this had not been reflected in their rankings.   Odd!

Edit:  Apologies for not reading to end of thread before posting!
