Other events - Week 33

In the G5 in Macedonia, Will Davies and Joe Tyler are through to the final of the doubles.

Good luck to them.

Both made it to R3 in the singles too.

In the G5 in Jordan, a great run by 14 year-old british player, MATOS SEQUEIRA FERNANDES , Jizel, only came to an end in the final.

She was runner-up to the second seed, having beaten the top seed, the 6th and the 7th seed en route.

That's her first singles points - not bad to start with a final. Congrats !!!!

Karim Najia also got a win in the boys, before losing to the top seed.

In the G5 in Trinidad and Tobago, Max Benaim is in the semis of the singles.

In the G4 in Portugal, (1) Donia Abdel-Aziz is through to the quarters. (8) Georgie walker and (2) Chelsea Samways got knocked out in R1 though.

In the G5 in Slovenia, youngster Jake Hersey, seeded 5, lost his first match. Fourth seed, Max Stewart, made R3 before losing.

In Portugal, Donia's recent run of poor form seems to continue, getting knocked out in the quarters.

Chelsea and Gerogie are through to the doubles semis though.

Maz lost his G5 semi in Trinidad but good tournament.

The young player from Norwich, Monica Raviraj, was double champion up in Iceland this week at the Tennis Europe event. She won singles and doubles so well done to her.
