Robredo won in 3 sets, so ...

Oh heck. Robredo usually wears him out.

Think we should just start the match at 5th MP Robredo and then go from there.

Andy vs Robredo on Court Central following Karlovic vs Raonic, which is scheduled for not before 6.30 pm local, 11.30 pm BST.

Karlovic vs Raonic should start on time since the previous match is scheduled for not before 2.30 pm ( I presume it's day and night sessions ). But then I could envisage them having a tiebreak or two ( though I guess the rallies won't be the longest ! )

So we're talking starting well into tomorrow morning, I imagine 1 am at the earliest.

Just to add that the head-to-head is 5-2 in Andy's favour, with Robredo winning their first two encounters (Las Vegas in 2006 by 2 & 2 & the final in Metz the following year by 0-6 6-2 6-3) & Andy the next five (the IW Masters in 2009 by 6-2 3-0 retired, the Madrid Masters the same year by 5 & 1, Wimbledon in 2013 by 2, 4 & 5 - on his way to the title! wink - & the finals in Shenzhen & Valencia last year by 5-7 7-6(9) 7-6(8) & 3-6 7-6(7) 7-6(8) respectively).  I guess the latter two matches would help to explain Madeline's comment... hmm

If we're unhappy with this draw, think how poor Mr Robredo must feel!

I'm not exactly unhappy with it, I would just rather he had been playing FLo.

They're very far behind evidently due to rain delay(s).

On Court Central :

Tsonga vs Coric : Tsonga just won at 10.50 pm BST, then

Djokovic vs Bellucci , which was due off not become 7.30 BST, then

Karlovic vs Raonic, which was due off not before 11.30 pm BST ( and change to night crowd ? ), then

Andy vs Robredo

So who knows ...

So the 1st set for Karlovic v Raonic went to a TB. Well knock me down with a feather.

The worst part is that it is sending me to sleep before Andy is on court and it's not even 10.30pm here.

Decided to stay up for Andy's match that finally started about 4.30 am where I am. Had toast and coffee to keep me awake. Andy broke early but was broken back. Rain started when he was serving at 4-4 and play was finally suspended when he was 40-30 up after a short sit down to determine whether it was just a brief shower. How frustrating. Now I'm wide awake so - to bed or not to bed?

Hope that you got some sleep, Goldfish.

Frustrating that delay, as it makes it almost certain that Mr Murray will have to play two matches on at least one day.

I took my tablet up to bed as I often wake during the night, I saw what play there was. I got back to sleep though! Rather worrying that Andy got broken back. He does seem to have trouble with Robredo, there were a lot of quite long points. When it resumes I hope he manages to hold - what a place to have to stop.
