The Malahide Java Republic G5 sounds like an Asian tournament, but in fact takes place in the coastal town of Malahide near Dublin (Java Republic being an Irish drinks retailer). There was a large British contingent with eighth seed Luke Simkiss reaching the semi-final of the boys event and Alice Gillan reaching the girls final, but there was a trophy in the doubles for Harry Butler and James Davis
Girls F
(WC) Sophia Derivan (IRL) d. Alice Gillan 6-0 1-6 6-3
Boys Doubles F
(4) Butler/Davis d. O'Boyle/Roglan (IRL/ESP) 6-2 6-4
Meanwhile in South Africa there is a G4 at the Wanderers tennis club in Johannesburg where Luke Hammond reached the semis before losing to the top seed, and is in the doubles final with Jack Burkill
Boys Doubles F
(3) Burkill/Hammond v (5) Copeland/Johnson (RSA)
