It's increasingly looking like an astute move from Katie to cut short her participation in Roehampton. The finalist from Roehampton and some of those who went deep are now gone in first round.  Not unexpected with junior tennis  .

Delighted with the wins for Maia and Anna biggrin

I also looked to see if the junior matches were being covered but then remembered they don't tend to show the first round matches.

I am concerned that, if Katie was injured sufficiently to opt out of the doubles in Roehampton and here, she continued to play on in Roehampton singles for at least a further match after she took a MTO - so she may well have an aggravated injury.

Now on court, versus Seone Mendez, and all on serve, 3-3.
