A belated congrats to Martina (double doubles champion!) and Leander for a superb run.

At age 42 and 34, are they the oldest couple to win it, does anyone know?

I think they just about tie ... Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova. Navratilova was 46, so 12 years older than Hingis ... but it was in 2003, so Paes was 12 years younger.
