Emily takes first set 6-3 but a break down in 2nd.

Katie lost first set on breaker but has just broken for 2-0

Katie's forehand has been pretty wild, like it was last week against Paszek. Having given away lots of cheap points she has reined it in a bit, it has improved the scoreboard but not so many winners. Her first serve is making up for that though, a real weapon. Pospelova has more weight to her baseline shots and is very consistent. Katie doing well to break her down now.

In comparison Emily's match seems to be in slow motion. 2 slower serves, loopy topspin forehands. Seems like Emily started well but getting a bit frustrated now. Jane o D is court side.
