Back on serve at 5-5. Wheels have come off a little.

Takes it 7-4. That was getting tight. Murray a set to the good.

Second set now also in the bag by 6-2.  That's more like it!

Just got home, great play. Can't believe how partisan the crowd is though!

The crowd have been against Andy every match he has played so far not sure why. The shouts are David rather than Andy although sounds similar.

3-0* turns to 5-4* MP which then becomes 5-7.

Never straightforward is it?

Fifth time lucky? wink

QF:  (3) Andy Murray WR 3 defeated (7) David Ferrer WR 8 by 7-6(4) 6-2 5-7 6-1

*****

SF:  (1) Novak Djokovic WR 1 vs (3) Andy Murray WR 3

The head-to head could do with a bit of sorting-out:  8-18, with NoDjo winning the last seven encounters.  Andy hasn't in fact beaten him since that oh-so-memorable Wimbledon final two years ago.  They've met twice on clay at ATP level (the Rome Masters SF in 2011 & the L16 of the Monte-Carlo Masters in 2008) & NoDjo won them both.  Here's hoping Andy's new-found "calmness & serenity" (Ferrer's words, apparently) on the devil dirt can help Andy make it third time lucky.
