Again, there is a separate thread for this! I have altered the title.

Andy is 4th match tomorrow on Philippe Chatrier.

Chances are the rest of his matches up until the SF (if he gets there) will be on Lenglen as from R2 onwards he will be playing on the same days as Nadal and Djokovic (Thur, Sat, Mon, Wed).

Though, of course, Djokovic and Nadal take up at most one spot on the QF schedule :)

Yes but they play half of the QF's on Chatrier and half on Lenglen. Obviously Nadal v Djokovic would be on Chatrier while Murray would be on Lenglen.

Is Lenglen the rather tight court? Or is that court one?

Ah, I am kind of forgetting that like Wimbledon ( and unlike the US and Aussie Opens ), they don't do night sessions, do they ...

Didn't get on here to congratulate Andy as I was too busy watching Kyle! Onward. . .

I think Sousa tends to prefer the clay so might be a bit more competitive in this one.

Finalist last week in Geneva ... suggests he's quite happy on clay.

Andy shouldn't be too concerned though.

Until last week Sousa had a pretty terrible record on clay so I wouldn't read too much into one deep run in a tournament that had a pretty weak field.

It just got mildly interesting, with Sousa breaking Murray, for JS 3-6, 5*-3 AM...

Sousa took the second 6-4 after Murray broke back but couldn't hold.

The third is looking tight - I'm worried about Murray's comments about last year, saying that he couldn't finish games quickly enough in the opening stages of the slam and by the time he faced up to Nadal he was exhausted. On the sort of form he's in I think he go far again but he needs to avoid dropping sets - especially as Nadal, Federer and Nishikori et al are sailing through right now.

...as I write, Murray just broke for *4-3 in the third.
