Sometimes I think the points system in tennis is nearly as daft as the way we end up with a government nobody wants.
This isn't a politics forum; however, as you mentioned it, please note that 11,334,576 votes says you are wrong. Sorry if you feel that is unfair.
Here in Shropshire we had to endure 13 years of a government we didn't vote for (and which nearly bankrupted the country); even the good folk of Telford swung from Lab to Con this time.
By the way, Con votes outweighed Lab and SNP combined by 542,836; looks like democracy works!

The points system in tennis is great, with its many game, set and match important moments, more especially with singles since it retains AD and doesn't have MTBs ( though I am more understanding about MTBs ).
As to politics there is a Chat Section in this forum. I have generally been actively avoiding countering a number of political / election points that have been randomly cropping up elsewhere. But in the Chat Section, I and maybe some of the 11 million plus 'nobody's who voted Tory ( I wasn't one ) may be more prepared to engage.

Thanks for that; I see the Scottish Referendum was a topic there but the GE hasn't been; I agree politics and sport are better kept separate generally speaking
Katy's had a tough year, will be interesting to get the inside track on what her current thoughts are. Maybe missing her partner in crime Miss Boulter who must have sustained a particularly nasty injury, as now been out for 5 months.
Naomi gradually getting back to her best form just in time for the grass season.

Sadly not up here where 1 in 7 only voted for this and in fact even less of the vote went with them than last time with a poor Labour Party says it all. The UKIP percentage wise vote was almost the same as the Tory vote in Scotland. I ll avoid Telford then if that's what good people are....
Anyway back on topic I think Katy's summer will give us a true indication of whether or not she has top 200 aspirations. I've always thought Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart would be more successful. Still seems no indication of a return for Katie yet sadly.
The problem is though last year she was competing with players at that level there doesn't seem to be an improve my band she is now at the age where that should be happening. Anna Brogan seems to be making the most progress out of all our younger girls.
