Shame about the final set. There was a long delay at the start of it so I'm wondering if Teichmann took a toilet break and refocused herself, she didn't drop a point in her first two service games. It's been a really decent tournament though for Katie with all the fighting spirit she's shown throughout.
Hoping she goes far enough at Wimbledon so that her matches are shown, and of course still in the doubles here.

Decent couple of wins in the singles and then a very big ask against a clay court specialist who is playing well at main tour level
Still - Katie's ranking points will increase. Currently 15pts more on doubles and 25/4pts more in doubles and still going - so min up to 848.75pts and better surface to come in the next few weeks.
They now advance to the QFs, to play Arconada+. The outcome of that match decides which of the two would be ranked higher on Monday. Katie is now provisionally Junior ranked 4th, having overtaken R-M and Arconada.
