Katie had to come from a break down twice in set 2 but has levelled up at 4-6 6-4

A lot of the top seeds have found it tough going, with second seed Shilin Xu going out to local girl Margot Yerolymos. However one who didn't struggle was fifth seed Dalma Galfi, who scored a rapid double bagel, which means Maia is now on court.
