(WC)Tipsarevic - 6)Tomic

5)Kohlschreiber - Vesely
(WC)A.Zverev - B.Becker
Q Brown - Bolleli
4)Goffin - BYE

8)Fognini - LL Trinker

Having a sighted in the dubs as well, playing with Rojer

R1 : Andy MURRAY (GBR) & Jean-Julien ROJER (NED) WR 583 ( 572 + 11) vs [3] Raven KLAASEN (RSA) & Lukas ROSOL (CZE) WR 76 ( 28 + 48)

Bit of a stinker for the seeds!

Sorry sure that's on the wrong thread, not sure how to delete it

Might as well leave it here - Andy is the only Brit of the pair, so it wouldn't fit in "British men".

And now I see that as Andy and Jules play Brits, the discussion is now on the British Men's thread.

I have edited the first post as the draw has been re-rigged. Klizan has withdrawn, but instead of putting a LL in his place, they have moved Rosol into his position as 9th seed (no 8th seed now) and shuffled things around a bit. So there will be 4 Qualifiers and one Lucky Loser in the draw. I'll re-edit when the Qs and LL are placed.

Hope Fognini v Monfils comes to pass, I would enjoy watching that.  Think they've gone the distance in most previous meetings in some topsy turvy entertaining clashes.

I'm hearing, on two other boards, than Monfils has withdrawn. I won't alter the first post until I find it officially. I assume that a LL would replace him directly now, if it is true.

The draw - without Monfils - is updated in the ATP/WTA live scores app
Gerald Melzer now gets the lucky R1 bye!

I've placed all the qualifiers/lucky losers in the first post.

Interesting. Two qualifying seeds [q2] Gombos and [q8] Langer lost in the FQR yet the two LL places go to the other two FQR losers.

Perhaps they realise how tired they are, and that's why they didn't win!

When you are a lefty and note that you have Mr Murray in the draw it must make your day.

A Murray d M Zverev 6-2 6-2

Andy always ahead, though he did have to face some break points. He was already one or two breaks up, though, and saved them all anyway. Not a bad start on the red muck.

I have a weird computer problem at the moment - while watching the free livestreams, I can't get on any other sites so can't post on the forum until I have closed the livestream. I've never had that before.

The rain is persisting down in Munich, and it looks as though they have given up on today. Andy's quarter is scheduled at stupid o'clock tomorrow (10am local time!), then the Kohli quarter, then if Andy wins the first match it is his semi, then the other semi, and Andy's doubles last. Busy day for our boy - at least two and possibly three matches in the day.
