I'm having to catch little bits while preparing/cooking dinner: Andy up 2 breaks *3-0. I can always watch the first set after the match. Maybe I should invest in a tablet so I could watch in the kitchen.

I dunno. When I left Andy was 4-0 up and serving in the first set, when I got back, plate in hand, he was serving at 5-4. I'll have to watch that set to see what happened. Second set more straightforward, just a slight wobble or two. 6-4 6-2.

I quite like watching Donald Young, he has some good variety - just not enough to get the better of Andy very often.

I was in a similar position, but then remembered that my husband treated himself to a laptop recently, so I had that in the kitchen!

#27 seed Santiago Giraldo next. H2H is 2:1 to Andy, though Giraldo won the last meeting - last year, Madrid on clay.

Not surprising, Madeline. Look what happened in Ms Watson's first match! Perhaps we should arrange for catered meals for you and yours during important tournaments.

I have put together a strict timetable for your activities both professional and domestic between Monday June 22nd and Sunday July 5 th. The precise timing of toilet breaks and powers naps is dependent on the activities of a Mr A Murray, Miss H Watson, Ms K Swan and Mr K Edmund over the said period, although maybe radically adjusted to cater for peaks in performance of Mr J Ward and Mr L Broady. Please purchase and prepare large quantities of frozen food, a tutorial on microwave usage for spouses and other close family members will be posted in mid June.

Sounds good. For emergencies, maybe the cat needs briefed to be ready to lap sit / pin down.

Also, being optimistic paticularly with regards to Mr Murray, I think plans should also be in place for the second week of Wimbledon.

Sounds good, but can you please make it a maid to serve up said meals? There is only my husband and myself, and since his stroke he cannot even microwave a meal (not that he did much in the meal line before!) So a cook/maid - and possibly a nurse as well - would be much appreciated, thank you.

Given the importance of the occasion, I think we should do all that we can to meet your full staffing requirements.
