All good stuff, but even more particularly for 2000s, there will still be a very wide variation in ITF exposure so it's great just to be improving, but I'd be a bit wary about who's 'best' or worldwide 2000 born relative ranking positions.
That said, it reminds me nothing beats the claims made re Issaac Stoute supposedly having been GB no 1 in his age group, basically based on at the start of their first year in ITF, Isaac having got in first in ITFs and essentially among better Brits having been briefly on top of a competition with himself.
Whatever the rights or wrongs about his case, that was all ( or is still if they are still hawking that one about ) rather embarrassing from his supporters.
I agree with you Indiana. At such a young age, those age rankings mean very little as players develop at different rates or may not even think of playing top level junior tennis at that age.
It was mentioned in passing but big congrats to Ali and Fran on taking the doubles title, beating the second seeds (having already beaten the top seeds).
