Pretty tough for a R1 draw but he's in the right half for me and should be looking at making that SF. Not expecting much but ideally he should've had a good few days off and will be ready.

Muller is playing well could take Andy out
Yes, but Wawrinka showed how to beat him and I would be shocked if Andy lost if he's playing anything other than poorly! Top players will face players playing well all of the time, but there's a reason that they rarely lose to them. Though, to be fair, if you're a skeptic of Andy then I understand your point.
its not that often that Andy loses against lower ranked players and when did he last go out in the first round? it may be a little tough but I believe he will win.

I am an andy fan I sometimes cant watch when he is playing below par just want him to win!
If you exclude his L32 retiral at one set all ( actually R2, but he got a bye in R1 ) in the 2013 Rome Masters where he retired at one set all against Granollers ( before missing the French Open ), as far as I can see, Andy has not lost his first match of a knock out tournament since Queens 2012 against Mahut ( again, actually R2 after a bye ).
I realise Muller is in the 30s in the rankings, but in looking back, I also noticed that Andy has not lost to a player ranked outside the top 50 since Janowicz ( then WR 63 ) at the 2012 Paris Masters.
He may have variable form, and indeed relatively poor form through most of 2014, but I'd say he is just about as good as any of the top players at getting through early rounds and past lower ranked players.
Andy is apparently having problems in Dubai: this is one of the tournaments where Amelie is not with him, and he hasn't yet found a stand-in for the weeks when she isn't there. He had a practice scheduled with Verdasco, but Verdasco was held up for 8 hours at the airport; Feli Lopez was another possibility - and a left-hander like Andy's first opponent - but Floppy is ill and was unable to practice. He ended practising with a local stand-in.
He will work Muller's serve out, sooner or later. It's his major strength. Muller's own return game is not good enough to trouble Andy unduly who likes a target at net.
8th seed Goffin lost to Baghdatis, meaning Murray would be the only seed in his quarter if he won. R2 opponent would be Sousa, somebody he has recently beaten and is 4-0 against, and then I fancy LL Coric to make the QF.
