Even spread of bets on the pole today people... I have struck my colours and gone for Andy in two tight set's, why ? because the lad has guts, will come out all guns blazing, and shoot for the moon... and if he loses it wont be easy.
Andy gets a saucy txt from Kim at the end of each game....Andy in 2 - 6 votes Andy eventaully wakes up from a coma, Andy in 3 - 8 votes Soderling forgets the last time they met....cruises in 2 ! - 7 votes Soderling arrives last but with super-duper magical shoes on and wins in 3 - 7 votes
so after the majority of folk last nigh took Andy to loose....a shift to a tight win !
Yes, I went for optimism after a lot of thought. Andy said he thought at the end of the match last night that he thought he ended up the fitter of the two of them, so if he really is feeling ok, he has a chance.
I still wouldn't be at all surprised, and not even disappointed, if he did lose. He has done fantastically well even to get this far.
There seems to be loads of 'sticky' threads cluttering up the front end of this bit of the Forum. The most interesting threads (most recent posts naturally rise to the top).
Perhaps whoever moderates this part of the Forum could review the wisedom of applying so many 'sticky' threads. None seems a good idea! *LOL* Perhaps a new section could be called 'Pearls of Wisedom' and anything deemed 'sticky-worthy' could be safely junked there!
Phew! A Murray match before Mr Ratty arrives! *LOL*
Tim - re stickies - I find it best when coming to the site to click on "recent posts". The most popular items are at the top.
I suppose the idea of stickies is to keep threads that are wanted regularly, as opposed to briefly popular like this one, on the top page. I have already removed one or two stickies but I don't want to overdo it, the site is Peter and David's after all.
