Yes.

Dan reached the finals of Les Petits As - and instantly became the centre of a lot of attention. Which is not always a blessing, it puts a lot of pressure on you (Liam Broady says the same about his Junior Wimbly success)

But from being a small tenacious kid who played well, he never really changed much

You had to feel for him, it is SO hard to make it as a man in tennis if you're only 5ft 6 or so

His problems in his mid-20s are well-documented and I was thrilled he came back to tennis the other side, more on is own terms, so to speak

I always enjoyed seeing him play - no theatricals and grandstanding, just a good feistiness. But I was never really sure he took much joy out of tennis (but that might just be his style in general - I once sat next to him at lunch - he rather griped and sniped about a lot of things then too )

Good luck, Dan

I remember see Dan Cox and Dan Evans as 16 year olds in a Wrexham futures event. I think they may have played each other with Dan Cox winning on that occasion.

He made the most of what he had. Good luck to him. I assume hes going into coaching as he was doing that before his comeback wasnt he?
