hope Steven may come on to confirm day/time, I was told Steven knows everything :)

That's just an ugly rumour LOL but I do know this - at the AO, the men's semis start the night sessions on Thursday and Friday at 7.30 pm local, so Andy will be playing on Thursday at 08.30 GMT.

Seems to have been pretty windy today and Andy said he thought that he adapted well to the conditions.

It was extremely windy for Andy's 2012 US Open semi victory over Berdych ( think the odd flying chair ! ) and windy in his final triumph vs Djokovic. So I reckon the wind can blow :)

Glad I'm not the only one here who has trouble working out time zones in advance of ours!

I say Djokovic, Nishikori, Berdych and Murray.

Well sussed, sir! What was your reasoning?

From what I saw of the first two sets, Nadal was just giving the points away and not bothering if he got behind in the exchanges. He didn't seem physically hampered (nothing evident that I could see) although his play at times was reminiscent of the Wawrinka match last year. Very strange.

Haven't watched Nadal play but his results and scorelines since coming back at the start of the year have looked a bit dodgy, starting with that exhibition humping by Andy and then competitively.

Though I did wonder if he was maybe getting it together more when he eased past Anderson in R4. But with Berdych seemingly in decent form I took him to win.

Just watched the Berdych-Nadal replay. I don't think it can be given much weight as to his form because Nadal was an extremely diluted form of himself today; obviously, I'd heard this from many, but I didn't think that it would be that bad. I do think that Andy will have to be very sensible and tactical as to how he approaches return of serve because I can see Berdych getting a lot of success from put-backs.

Next match on BBC2

Is that so Helen?  I can only see the finals on the schedule.  But I would love it if it's so,  as my 91 year old mother will be able to watch it.  Please could you confirm before I get her excited !!!

Hi Julia, it's definitely on BBC2. Hope ti makes her day It will mine - if Muzzah too.

Can Murray's court craft defuse Berdych's power? That has to be the essence of the match given Berdych's key tools.

And what insider information does Andy's former coach bring to the table? This looks like one of those intriguing matches with a story to it, one that Andy will want to win as much for defending his coaching choice as for the glory of winning.

It's on BBC. Unmissable!

If Andy wins tomorrow he climbs to no.4 in the rankings and pushing Rafa for no.3

Andy could still end this tournament ranked 3,4,6 or 7 (although not 5).

While I would be delighted to see Andy win the tournament I would be happy with anyone other than Djokovic winning it. I can't remember a time when 3 players that I liked all made the SF's of a slam.

Wow, just seen that Leconte and Cash are playing invitation doubles after the evening warm-up match! I hope the BBC will keep their coverage going.
