Well done to Mr Murray for a good tournament generally thus far and a good win here. Not happy about his next opponent - Mr Berdych is trouble for him generally and seems very confident ... and will have the added confidence of getting "into his mind" by having Mr Vallverdu on side. But that said, Mr Murray's had a very good tournament so far and is looking back to his old form - so we live in hope!

H2H against Berdy 4-6 - oo-er! Both are playing well. I'm a bit nervous about that match. To be honest I would rather he had been playing Rafa - it was obvious that Rafa was a bit vulnerable, and I wanted Andy to be the one to beat him. Even if Andy goes on to win the tournament the haters will have the "didn't have to beat Federer or Nadal" to keep them amused.
Nice, professional win for Andy. Berdych is an extremely tricky task and he will have to be at his best to clinch that final spot, but we know that he can.

If Andy goes on to win the tournament, something that 2 months ago I would have considered extremely unlikely, I won't be in the least worried what the haters have to say. In any event he probably deserves an Australian Open title on the basis of his performances here over the years.
Yes, wouldn't have minded Rafa in the SF. But the rather annoying thing about this KO business is you tend to end up playing the players in form and it's winner vs winner. Winner vs loser would be nice sometimes :)
