Andy gets six and a half out of ten from the Aussie Eurosport commentator and I wouldn't disagree with that. Bhambri played well considering his ranking.
ok, despite looking at the schedule for the first day I couldn't see any Brits on the list. how did I miss Andy's match but good to wake up and see he'd got through it ok. I find it difficult to know how Andy will do this tournament, not even sure that Andy knows but I didn't expect him to win the US Open and he did. So will see - one gone, six to go.
I hope Eurosport put on another replay tomorrow afternoon so I can watch the match. 1.30 as yesterday would be fine, I would have to go out before the end but if I pause the livestream I might be able to watch the rest when I get back.
pleased to say I don't think I've seen any retirements yet at this tournament. a little surprising as there were so many at the grand slams last year. it did look a little windy yesterday with the ball girl/boys caps flapping around so maybe that helps with the heat.
Nice win after the rusty start in the first round. It's so important he gets to the QFs in good shape. Two more wins and it's game on and late nights for us all.
He did look in good shape and made short work of Matosevic. The only downside I noticed was a few service wobbles mid-match when 'Mato' managed to pull his game together sufficiently to threaten briefly.
