The country mile difference between Djokovic and the pack has narrowed discernibly today. I think that was an incredible trial of mental strength on Murray's part today which he came through with flying colours. I only saw bits mid-match but he dismantled Berdych's game and drew a string of errors. Wonderful stuff!
Kim's swearing is taking the headlines, the Telegraph has even been employing several lip-readers to interpret what she said!
And - ahead of the game as ever - I reckon that if she made a disparaging remark about a Czech on the grounds of his nationality, she's committed an offence under Australia's Racial Discrimination Act 1975. Cue a grandstanding politician to demand her immediate arrest.

Oh I'm pretty sure it wasn't on the grounds of his nationality.

I was actually joking, but after a bit of googling have discovered that there have been several convictions in the UK for far less than Kim's efforts. A couple of examples: a Hearts fan calling Craig Bellamy a "wee Welsh b*stard", and a Frenchman who called a business rival "a fat f***ing English c**t".

very annoying headlines, they don't even know what Kim has said so why focus on that. Andy has just got through to the final of another grand slam. think its why I don't bother to read the newspapers anymore.
and in case there's any misunderstanding I'm not having a go at Ratty just the stupid papers.

Capturing people on video without their consent and releasing the video is an anti-social habit. So is swearing. But if her comments were not generally audible and were not spoken directly at anyone in particular, then recording them on video and releasing it, to my mind, trumps the swearing. And continuing to ratchet up the pressure with prurient press coverage, well ...
Quite agree. What a complete non-story. Girlfriend of player possibly swears (or possibly not), inaudibly, to herself. She's an adult. We're not her mother. No one can be insulted because no one knows, for sure, what she said and it wasn't said directly to anyone. Lordy, and that makes top news??????
Kim appears to have picked up some of Andy's less admirable habits , but has there been any harm done ? no not really although unfortunate used the word Czech which with it's racist undertones . May be she's UKIP ?

Maybe she was just supporting her man in a huge match for him. ******** hell.
As said, Andy's in the Aussie Open final and our papers are on about this.
Also, he has in recent times hugely improved in press conferences and interviews, and seemingly more open and less wary. This press behavior will help - not.

There is a lot of doubt as to whether she said "Czech" at all - serveral versions are floating around the internet. I doubt if anybody not sitting next to her heard just what she said, and lip-reading is not an exact science.
Would so like to see Mr Wawrinka win this match and give us a Murray/Wawrinka final. But however tight he may be, Mr Djokovic is fairly indomitable ...
