Joel Cannell is seeded here but looks to have a tough draw against a Russian with good results recently, including a straight sets win over Joel

R2

If I remember right, Sam Taylor is the Swedish lad with a British father. So a semi-Brit :)

I think you're right, but to confuse matters there's also an all British Sam Taylor who's currently on the tennis team at Radford in the US.  Not sure if the British one has played any pro tournaments but before uni certainly played a lot of BT events and junior ITFs.

Joel unfortunately retired from his match trailing 3-6. Ewan's match was the last singles on court

British interest ends quickly - unless you count Sam Taylor who advanced today against the 5th seed.

R2

Artem Dubrivnyy (RUS) d. (7) Joel Cannell 6-3 rtd
(9) Sam Taylor (SWE) d. Ewan Moore 6-3 6-4
