Very difficult this year, eventually I decided to drop Emily, Tara and Amanda Carreras from the top 10. I also decided to include one of the 16/17 year olds in the list and decided Anna B stood the best chance, though if Gabriella Taylor or Maia Lumsden play regularly they could also shoot up the rankings.

Right didn't do this last year, so gave someone else an opportunity to win the prize ;) Let's see what we've got.
1. Heather 38. finished last year in the doldrums but showed enough last year that she can get into the top 30, so with a period to recharge her batteries, I expect a slightly better year than last but haven't got quite enough confidence to predict a mark inside the top 30.
2. Laura 95. This is really tough, clearly her rehab has not been 100% smooth, latest photo showed her hitting her forehand from the service box not the back of the court. I'll be shocked if she makes her comeback before March at the earliest. So with so much uncertainty about how much tennis she'll play this year, I've gone with 95 but that could still be far too high.
3. JoKo 115. I'm expecting a better year from Jo, last year couldn't have been much worse, given what she had to deal with off the court. Again we don't know how fit she is, but I've gone with a positive prediction.
4. Katy 195 Massively impressed when I saw her live last summer and finished the year strongly, very condident that Katy will make a big jump this year.
5. Tara 205 Expecting a big bounce back, Tara with one of her hands tied behind her back won't drop any further in the rankings, she is so talented, just an average year will see her back near the top 200.
6. Katie 235 Another difficult one to predict. I feel she overplayed last year, so may hit a wall a bit this year, but clearly talented with a big future, so still predicting a decent year.
7. Naomi C. 245 Expecting a big year for Cav, and I could have got this one badly wrong, but given she wasn't able to beat Harriet last year, I'm not predicting a higher ranking.
8. Naomi B. 250 I hope I'm completely wrong about this one, but following Wimby Naomi couldn't find anywhere near her best form, so 2015 may be quite tough.
9. Emily 280 Had a fab year in 2014, with her ability to play most weeks, and find easier grade tournaments should have another good year.
10. Harriet 295 Destined for great things as a senior, she will 100% maximise her potential, should have another year of solid progress.
I would have had both Eleanor and Sam in my top 10 if I was more confident about their injury status.
