Another error from Andy and he's 5-2 down.

Sounds like Hewitt's playing at a really high level and Andy's struggling to match him from the baseline, not consistent enough

Dissapointing game. Another couple of errors in Andy's groundstrokes especially when chenging the direction on the ball.

It's only 1 break though so if Andy produces a solid hold here, Hewitt may get a little tense when serving for the set and throw in a few errors

15-30, not good news, that may be the set gone.

Set to Hewitt

But...Andy can turn it around so fingers crossed. Did his level drop or did Hewitt's rise?

He's being ground down right now it appears.

From, what you've said Niall, it sounds like Andy is adopting an extremely risky strategy, changing the direction of a fast moving ball requires really nimble footwork and a strong wrist, it's stunning when it works well but not a percentage shot.

Hewitt tends to play percentage shots cross-court most of the time

How do you think he can get back into this match Niall ?

What do you think he needs to do to change how things are going ?

Fantastic bh into the corner brings up two set points.

An ace saves the first won but Andy gets in trouble and loses the second.

Andy has won 11/14 points on his first serve an just 1/12 on the second serve.

That stat and the poor ground stroke is the reason for the scoreline.
