Not a great result for Charlie but Cancel (known him since he was a nipper) is a classic example of a French junior who never really played the junior circuit, just domestic tournaments and club matches (he was part of the regional elite squad but not sure he made the national elite lot) and then moved up to ATP adults (mainly in France) and is now WR 1606.
Yes, not suggesting don't quote them at all ( if folk are happy to do so ), but I think most folk know that junior rankings need to be taken with a huge pinch of salt with such a range of ages and circumstances.
At least you know quite a bit about this French lad, CD, but much of the time we will be pretty much in the dark unless someone goes digging.
