Well, generally not playing much at all ahead of Masters tournaments and coming in fresh / rusty hasn't been too successful for Andy in the last year or two.
So a chance to compare and contrast with playing the previous 5 weeks in a row, going all the way to the title in the last two and seemingly totally exhausted at the end of last week.
Maybe rest is overrated :)
Seriously, I think somewhere between the two may be best.
Today was always going to be a little easier, after a couple of days rest and of course still the huge mental motivation. Love to see a tight match against Nole if he has enough gas left, to prove that we can really get excited about next year.
Coup Droit do you know of a livestream that will work in France. The ones I used last Sunday blanked out after a while. Would subscribe to tennistv and was assured last night that it is not blocked but today a message came up that provider wasn't valid. Don't seem able to check again without paying.
Andy handled Cuevas 6-2 6-2 in Beijing I believe, although Dimitrov did look great in parts yesterday. Surely there can only be one thing going through Andy's mind besides the WTFs and that is Wimbledon.
Commentary of Muzz vs. Grigor, with Russell Fuller again, currently available on R5L Sports extra for those that can't get TV coverage or streams at the moment.
