Ed is always a tough competitor and did not give much away . The Burt's /bomb partnership been through a bad patch but there back working hard for each other again . Great to see that their bouncing back !
Lewis Burton is well under ranked as a doubles player still. Definitely a doubles specialist and could make top 100 if he scheduled/had the right partner for a whole 6 months (NO MORE PLAYING FUTURES!). I don't know if anyone has noticed how quick he gets to the net behind his serve, very impressive... and seems to return well off both wings which is good to see!
Marcus still looked a bit rusty at times but then came up with a few high standard points when required.
Looking forward to seeing how they get on in the next round against a pair that is a higher level in terms of rankings
