Man Utd down to ten men. Scholes with two yellows!

And one-nil down Rodrigo netting for Roma

Unibond League, Scottish Div3, Div2, (Scottish Cup Final appearance) Div1 and now into the SPL....not a Gretna fan by any stretch of the imagination...but well done.

This proves one thing......Fairy Tales DO come true.

Torres signing for Liverpool today for about £20m. I have my doubts on what impact he'll bring to the English game. Quite sad he's left Atletico Madrid as I have a soft spot for them.

will be interesting to see how the 3 do.

Liverpool - Torres: 20+Mil
Spurs - Bent: 16.5Mil
Arsenal - Eduardo: 8mil (best guess).

Torres will struggle IMO. Eduardo will hopefully be more succesful at Arsenal than Davor was!

It was always likely to happen at some point, and the signs were there that the relationship between Mourinho and the club was falling apart, especially with the fact that the results weren't going for them this year

Hopefully they don't get it sorted before taking on Man Utd on Sunday, and it will be interesting to see how the players react to all of this, and how they end up playing under Grant

What a frustrating night.

Everton have themselves to blame for naive defending and headless attacking last twenty minutes.

They have the ref to blame for such inconsistencies....

But when you're awarded 2 penalties, playing 9 men, and you concede like they did what do you expect. You can't really complain.

perfectly good penalty ruled out, ricochet leads to unlikely equaliser, Aj given the 3rd penalty when someone else should clearly have taken it, the whole team mistaking themselves for England under Sven. angered.gif

bad luck but no maturity to capitalise on some massive opportunities. I'm gutted. I thought we had got better than that.

I was watching the match with a mate, and after about 60 minutes I said that the Ukrainian side were so poor that they would knick an equalisier in the last minute.... then Everton missed the penalty and they had someone sent off, you just knew what was going to happen

I felt they'd scored too early, and that Everton would come back to win, which they would have done if Johnson had scored the penalty!

Technically, the scored penalty shouldn't have counted, as Osman was in the D when it was taken, and there were 2 Everton players in the box (and some Ukrainian's as well), but it is never called by the officials in any match.

You'll win the second leg, as Everton are the better side... just need to take the chances and you'll get through
