thanks for posting that info re. the semis being on Eurosport. I don't have the patience to check to TV listings on a regular basis, I'd much prefer to get that info here.  Is it worth starting a new thread, "Tennis on TV"  where contributors jot down the times and channels for interesting matches?    Knowledge of tennis in advance would help me negotiate my way out of watching some crap film or worse still Eastenders....

I like the idea, especially as my tv paper never has a schedule for Eurosport 2 and I can never be bothered to check the site most days.

Let's hope he hasn't peaked too soon!
The match is scheduled second after the Hewitt match, which is "not before 12.30" local time or 8.30 in the evening here. So Andy's match could start any time after 10pm or so.  Yay!  I can follow this one!

Icould handle 10.30pm, Rats permitting! (still don't ask! *LOL*)

I found this from a newspaper when Soderling beat Nalbandian last year:

The former Wimbledon finalist was beaten 7-6, 7-5 by Robin Soderling, a 20-year-old Swede pushing towards the top 30 but whose hard-hitting game appeared to be more suited to a livelier surface.

However, Soderling mixed flat-hitting aggression and good serving with sufficient consistency in slow, heavy conditions not at all suited to a policy of concerted attack, and made it work.

``I think I serve very well,'' he said. ``It got a little bit quicker when we got the roof on, and it helped me to play (well).

Looking at Soderling's results, he's a bit of an on/off player. I mean he's taken Ljbubic to a third set, but hes lost against some players ranked below him. Hopefully we see him on a bit of an off day. If Murray serves well I'm thinking 64 76 (dont know why :) )

I haven't been around and I'm totally out of the loop. Is this match today? If so i may stay up and watch it whilst i try to get some work done. How's Murray been playing? From the BBC reports he seems to played brilliantly so far.

Hi Mkk, nice to see you back. Yes, today, after the Hewitt match, which is after the match now on and in the 3rd set. 10.30-11.00 I would guess.

Kool. Well I would of thought Hewitt would of ended this in an hour, but his latest form has been a bit hit or miss, so we may have to wait a bit for Murray

On the basis of the first few games they seem to be holding serve pretty comfortably but as you said, might all change.

An American on MTF watching the match has described it as very boring!

Hewitt leads 7-6 5-2 with a double break. Andy could be on court soon.
