Sadly (according to a tweet from Steven) Vanni has taken the second 6-3...

In the end, Vanni won the last 11 games (though some of them were close, so Liam was still fighting, by the looks of it):

L32: (Q) Liam Broady WR 286 lost to Luca Vanni (ITA) WR 156 (CH 154 last week) by 6-7(2) 6-3 6-1

Very disappointing to see Liam lose 11 games in a row but to put it in perspective at least it is now a surprise where as a few months ago it wouldn't have been.

A very similar scoreline to Eastbourne, where it was 7-6(5) 6-3:
