I'm sure hes very pleased to go to TCU, he's billed as a Kiwi on their website will ? can the LTA support him while in college facilitating travel to and entrance to US challengers/futures events on his holidays?
I'm pretty sure he has a dual passport, but now represents GB and assuming he is signed up will get money from the bonus fund. I'm not sure what other funding if any he claims from the LTA. I'm sure he left the NTC claiming it wasn't for him.
Anyway, he is on court as we speak and should win fairly comfortably.
I don't think the terms of his scholarship will allow him to accept money from the bonus fund. He can accept prize money to offset against expenses, but a payment from the bonus fund would, I think, fall into the category of payments received as a professional and therefore remove his amateur status.
The Optimist: does this work on an annual basis ? i.e. can one work out all one's expenses for the year and offset those against all the prize money one receives that year? Or is it a tit-for-tat thing i.e. the Napa challenger prize money offsets the Napa challenger expenses, and bad luck if you have other expenses later and no prize money ?

On a per tournament basis. No carrying forward of expenses or prize money.
Cam seems to perform better when the weather is hot and sunny, and is no doubt a huge talent, hopefully college will help his development and not hinder it.
For those who've never seen him (me!), Cameron is currently on the ATP livestream :)
And playing very well :::)))
5-2* up against Freddie
Well darn, I read that and hurried to the livestream, to find a different match - then realised the post was an hour old! Presumably the match is finished, I'll go and look for the score.
We could be in for a real roller coaster today. From 1-2* down, Kyle broke twice to lead *4-2 but then got broken again, from 40-15. Back on serve at 4-3*.
But while I'm typing Kyle breaks for 3rd time and will serve for the set at *5-3. Only 3 holds in 8 games so far though
