It was so satisfying to see all the new career highs this morning on Stephen's top 25 table. There were several noteworthy ones but I was so delighted to see Naomi B up there as our no 3. No idea if she's reached her peak but I'm glad she has such a good new career high as a reward for keeping the faith with her tennis career.
Their ages and movements through the rankings this year suggest that Katy D, Katie B, Eleanor D, Harriet D, Gabi T, and Isabelle W will be a strong and exciting group to follow over the next 2 or 3 years. Exciting times.
So similar to the one in the men's section, I thought it would worthy to resurrect this thread.
In generating this list, the (arbitrary) criteria for inclusion was either a CH of 200 or higher obtained since 1990 or any player with a WTA ranking in singles or doubles since 2021.
The list stops at Alice at 685, for no other reason other than lack of space.
Assuming i haven't missed anyone out in either list, we've have more (recent) women with a CH inside the Top200 than men (33 vs 25).
Edit: Idid miss out some players. Table updated to include Anne and Elena.

Thanks Peter. Because of space limitations, only those with a CH of 250 or higher are being included, so i've added in Jane, Amanda and Lisa (along with some others who's CH sits between 200 and 250).
So the list now looks like.....

Didn't realise it had been so long since the last update. As a result, Sonay's numerous CHs were missed, but this posting does coincide with Beth breaking into the Top300 for the first time.
As a reminder this list only considers players with a CH inside the Top250 which was achieved since 1990 plus all currently active players.
A new year, so time for a (long overdue) updated table.
For the moment, it still only includes players who achieved a CH of 250 or higher since 1990 plus active players. Most recent changes are a new CH for Lily and a number of players (Naomi, Fran, Gabriella) now showing as grey rather than green. This means they did not have a ranking at the start of the year, and thus the table assumes they are players who are no longer active (this obviously may not be the case for Fran. If she reclaims a ranking she will revert to green).
As with the men's the charts have been updated, to in theory include every player who has achieved a CH since 1990. However the WTA website is not the best, and so i'm sure some players are missing. If you have any suggestions, please say. Eden takes out her previous CH this week, and is now able to claim a Top300 ranking.
Much like in the men's, since the last chart, new CHs have been achieved by our top players. Katie improves her CH by over 20 places, while Jodie finally joins the top100 club.
