There seems to be a packet of tournaments this week.

So, in addition to all the ones with their own thread:

 

G4, Portugal:

QF: Ema LAZIC (GBR) [3] v Joana BRITES (POR) 

 

Third seed Ema Lazic is through to the quarter-finals. Lily Reynolds won her first match and lost the second.

Chris Reynolds and Jay Clarke lost in R3; Alex Parker, Marco Wright  lost in their first round.

 

G5, Moldova

Will Davies made the semi-final, before losing to the fifth seed.

Freddie McGeehan, top seed, and Joe Tyler (q) lost in the quarters. Giles Hussey lost in round 2.

However, Will and Joe are in the final of the doubles.

 

In Mauritius, G5, wildcard Joshua Rose won his first match before losing 6-4 6-3 to the top seed who's cruised to the final

Even a passing British interest in Macedonia . . . they do get around smile

Emily A [9] & Freya [13] are currently on court in USO Girls qualies.
0-4* & *1-2 respectively.

Maia [8] plays later, as does Alex Sendegeya (against the top seed)

 Very well done Ema!! Although not one of our more high-profile juniors, I see really good things in her game and think we'll all be hearing a lot more of her.

Another of our talented 98 girls - who is moving up the junior rankings and already had a crack on the tour making the main draw in Egypt. Definitely one to watch.

US Open girls qualies

Emily A was unable to repeat the feats of Katie Swan & Gabi Taylor in the recent MoCo trophy, where they both beat Caroline Dolahide.
Today Emily was defeated by the American 2-6 4-6

Freya won though 6-4 6-2
