Standing ovation for Indiana's prediction.

Gasquet out injured and Djokovic beaten by Tsonga.  Muzza to face JWT in the QF.

Dammit, I rearranged my day to watch Andy play Dammit! Did the ironing in the heat of the day to leave the evening free

And Tsonga in the quarters. Nole give a very good impression of tanking that match for some reason - he just didn't seem to care at all.

Nole made the fatal mistake of getting married. It's all down hill now.

What a turn of events in Andy's quarter of the draw! biggrin

L16:  (8) Andy Murray WR 9 "defeated" (12) Richard Gasquet (FRA) WR 13 by a walkover wink  No wonder the match never came up on bet365!

******

QF:  (13) Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) WR 15 vs (8) Andy Murray WR 9

The head-to-head on the main tour is 9-1 in Andy's favour, five of those nine coming on hard courts.  JWT's solitary win was also on hard:  that infamous victory in the first round of the Oz Open in 2008!

Top half even more topsy turvy as Anderson has knocked out Wawrinka.

Ah, that Gasquet / Djokovic / Wawrinka / Federer route...

...maybe time for Fed to be getting worried :)

Quite!   It's such unexpected turns of fate that feed our addiction, I think.  Dimi immune, however:  defeated Robredo in three...

Andy v Tsonga is scheduled for not before 6pm UK time tonight. I'll have to persuade the other half to have his dinner a bit early (I can't get away with altering the clock, it's radio controlled).

My first thought was also 'sport!'. Hopefully Tsonga doesn't install that thought in my head tonight:)

Is this the first time Murray has come out in the kinetic tape or whatever it's called ?

I haven't seen it before. And his dodgy knee is the other one, isn't it?

That was what I was trying to work out Madeline. Used to the ankle braces this is a new one to worry about !

He's looked pretty solid but I'm not really seeing a weapon. I used to be pretty confident that he could capitalise on opportunities such as a short return but I haven't been since his return from injury. Tsonga's serve has been great though.
