The under 16 European Junior Championships take place as usual in Moscow. Most participants get first round byes, but three of our four representatives play, with Marcus Walters having the novelty of an opponent from Andorra.
A good scoreline for Max, though the win doesn't count as an upset in my view. Under 16 seedings are weighted towards performance in under 16 events, whereas Max has a superior ITF record (similar for Georgie's win over a seed). Jodie's R3 opponent has won a couple of G2s this year though.
