So for Nottingham - just four GB girls in the main draw and the cut off looks like 876 - which is disappointing
4 wildcards plus qualifiers(i'd expect 5-6 GB qualifiers) so potentially 13 girls in the main draw.
These 10K are designed for players ranked 350-1000 to pick up points and either push them on or get them on the WTA ladder. It must be disappointing to only get 4 girls out of 13 ranked within this area entering. I know there are injuries, retirements and players based overseas that won't travel that, but this tournament should really have been a lot stronger than it is.

Agree with you. And the Woking list for the week after looks even worse i.e. only one GB girl as a direct entry.
NB Does anyone know why Jasmine Asghar is not on the list for any of these ? She has 7 points already and only needs one more for her WTA ranking. Is she injured ? Would have thought she'd have been her otherwise . . .
Had a feeling he had when I saw that tweet. You've really got to question what on earth his plan is at the moment, assuming there is one. Obviously can't help injury, but he just seems to be scrapping around without any real sense to it.
