JoKo still hasn't recovered, by the looks of it - she has pulled out of Montréal qualifying

So for Nottingham - just four GB girls in the main draw and the cut off looks like 876 - which is disappointing

4 wildcards plus qualifiers(i'd expect 5-6 GB qualifiers) so potentially 13 girls in the main draw.

These 10K are designed for players ranked 350-1000 to pick up points and either push them on or get them on the WTA ladder. It must be disappointing to only get 4 girls out of 13 ranked within this area entering. I know there are injuries, retirements and players based overseas that won't travel that, but this tournament should really have been a lot stronger than it is.

Sophie Watts and Georgia have both lost in their first round matches at the British Tour event this week . . .

Is Eden the fourth MD girl ? My ITF site still has her as second alt. and just three in the MD. Is that out of date ?

No - I'm assuming no SE. 20 in main draw, 4 wildcards and 8 qualifiers.

I actually thought he may get a qualifying wildcard rather than main draw.

Why would he look for a wildcard when he could get in direct?

that assumes he entered. He may not have bothered thinking his ranking wouldn't be high enough.

There's two possible reasons why he's not in the entry list. Either he didn't want to play or he forgot to enter.

Agree with you. And the Woking list for the week after looks even worse i.e. only one GB girl as a direct entry.

NB Does anyone know why Jasmine Asghar is not on the list for any of these ? She has 7 points already and only needs one more for her WTA ranking. Is she injured ? Would have thought she'd have been her otherwise . . .

Is there a reason we know of for his withdrawal? Is it the knee again?  His ranking is startting to slide....

Going by his twitter he has flown home. If he is still having trouble with the knee you have to wonder why on earth he played doubles in Lexington.

Had a feeling he had when I saw that tweet. You've really got to question what on earth his plan is at the moment, assuming there is one. Obviously can't help injury, but he just seems to be scrapping around without any real sense to it.

Does anyone know what his coaching arrangement is now that Hoferlin has quit? Or if he actually even has one?

Leon Taylor is listed on ATP and ITF sites.
