Excellent win for Boults - the draw is opening up with the top 2 seeds gone.

If Maia and Izzy win again they will meet in L16

Yes, but Katie gets Tornado, third seed, next. A different kettle of fish from Margot . . .

However, she's got some lovely tennis, has our Katie, so why not . . .

Anyone know when / if the juniors start to be streamed? I seem to remember they get televised towards the latter half of this week?

It varies from year to year, but they usually stream a few matches from the middle of the week onwards.  Maia is a possibility tomorrow, but I suspect we will have to wait until Thursday, when the main draw backlog should have cleared sufficiently to allow  a few junior matches on one of the 6 main courts

Tami Grende beat Katie B on the way to the Malaysian G1 title earlier this year. Michaela Gordon is a 14 year old, part of the team with CiCi Bellis, which won the World Juniors last year

R2

(WC) Gabriella Taylor v Tami Grende (INA)  Ct 4 match 1
Katie Boulter d. Margot Yerolymos (FRA) 6-3 6-3
Michaela Gordon (USA) v Isabelle Wallace  Ct 19 match 2
(Q) Dalma Galfi (HUN) v (WC) Maia Lumsden  Ct 16 match 2

Yes, and surely we need to be positive and hope that the winds of change are starting to blow through British tennis...smile

Gaby won the first set 64. She had 2 points for a 51* lead in the second, but was broken, now serving for the match at *54

Maia served out to 30 for a 7-5 6-3 win

Michaela broke Izzy to serve for the match, but Izzy broke back (don't think there were any matchpoints)

Izzy 2-6 6-5*

Izzy was broken in the first game of the decider but hit back for 3-1, and saved breakpoint(s) for 4-1. Michaela though has just won the last two games so it is 4-3*
