Harriet takes the first set 6-2 but Shilin Xu appears to have worked Emily out and takes her sixth game in a row for 6-3 1*-0

Harriet started so well against 9th seed (WTA 270) but seems to have faded in tandem with the light, losing 5 of the last 6 games - Kalinina is serving for the 2nd set.

Harriet had 0-40 at 3-0 but failed to get the second break and the 9th seed stormed back with 5 games. Kalinina was eventually broken when trying to serve out the set at gone 9.30pm so we reach 5-5 with play suspended

Harriet breaks back as Kalinina serves for the match 6-2 *5-5 - they'll beat Berdych-Cilic last night if they don't come of now ...

They appear to have decided that they can't get through all the first round matches on Monday with the backlog, so Maia and Izzy don't appear on the schedule. Nor at the moment does the resumption of Harriet's match

That's the issue with court 14 and 15 being out of action this year. Weather looks fine for most of next week though so they should catch up

Blew a 5-1* lead in the breaker and loses the first set 67(5) bleh

Ouchie. Disappointing after such a good fightback earlier in the set.
