Josh is first on court 18 tomorrow, so probably streamed, though they sometimes miss the start (11am) of matches that begin before the other outside show courts (11.30)
I can't decide if Josh is very good or the other boy is average. One thing is for sure though, when Josh gets that first serve in it is a bomb! He served a 126 down the T in the first set.
I watched some of it. He was just by far the better player. More power, few errors and looked confident and steady. Be interesting to see him in a more competitive match.

That's a fair question. I've seen a fair number of Wimbledon round 3 matches in recent years and the Peruvian was probably the least well-equipped player I have seen. Josh impressed with his first serve and general aggression but Iamachkine was unable to offer much. Next match will enable us to assess Josh more accurately - Mmoh and Tatlot (both strong juniors) were still in the first set when Josh's match ended.
He and Peter Ashley both seemed very good prospects a few years ago, but for whatever reasons ( I don't follow closely enough ) have since dropped below the radar.
What has held Josh's tennis back ? Education priorities, injuries... ?

Yes, the Peruvian was very lucky to get this far, I think - not only because he got a lucky loser place but also because the only seed he has had to play so far was from Argentina, so may well have been as green on grass, as it were, as Iamachkine himself. Still very impressive that Josh put him away so convincingly though and how confidently he served it out.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I know that Sapwell has had ongoing injury problems quite recently ( i.e. during 2014) with his arm/shoulder and the way he was talking about it made it sound as though it was an old, recurrent injury.
But don't know how long-standing it is, or how significant to overall progress.
Gabi loses the first set TB 7-5...Considering the ranking of Gilbert and the fact she knocked out the number 1 junior in the last round, Gabi doesnt look the worse player, she just hasnt played the big moments well (losing her serve to love when serving for the first set...)
She has a Tara Moore type build, decent groundies, good presence and is certainly not out of this match if she can relax and keep pressure on her opponent.
