6 hours on court in 24 hours, so if Rafa ever gets tired (doubtful) this could be a good time for Andy to strike.

Still can't quite believe it's more 2.5 years since they last met.

I know it was 6 years ago now, but I still have fond memories of Nadal out of breath, hands on his knees after Andy won a monumental point to set up match point back in the 2008 US Open. He definitely gets tired, just hides it well.

.... and then Rafa played a poor drop shot on that MP which Andy swatted away :)

That was a fantastic set of tennis from Andy.

I completely agree, I saw this match live in Rome two days ago (I am Italian) and I really enjoyed it.

I really hope that tonight Murray beats Nadal, I know that it is a mission almost impossible on clay, but Andy come on!!!

On another note I would like to say that we were all very impressed by Murray's kindness, he stopped to sign autographs to EVERY child (and there were really a lot!) and he was the only champion who did it (most champions sign a few autographs and then go away), thank you Andy.

Andy v Rafa under way and Andy leads 3-0 - but he had to battle hard to hold the last game.

I can't say that I'm expecting more than a three-set Rafa win but this is very promising.

You just never know...

Rafa, for whatever reason has been a lot of the time below his best in this clay court season. So maybe a combination of that continuing and Andy near his clay best could just maybe...

But yes, I am not counting any chickens for now.

That's nice to hear. Thanks for your input - it's always interesting to hear the viewpoint from a different perspective!
