Ever the showman, Murray likes Rome and the Romans like him. He played a blinder against Djokovic in the 2011 semi. He served for that match as well, rather like at 4-2 yesterday. Shame his level dropped after that first set when he was in the zone and virtually unplayable. The world No 1's face said it all.
With the really big ranking points here being hoovered up by the top 2, who will certainly be the top 2 seeds for Wimbledon, I would assume that Andy remains close enough to the other top players so that, with the 'grass adjustment', he retains a good chance of a top 4 seeding for Wimbledon.
I don't know precisely how it works and obviously the position will be clearer after the French Open, where Andy has nothing to defend.
