Ema Lazic trains with Gosling I believe and is from Swindon.

Jodie is from Surrey, but is based at West Hants Academy.

Not sure on the rest.

I believe that Donia (born 2000) is based up in Northumberland and is home-schooled and completely tennis-based.

The TennisFirst site gives quite a lot of info on those who are tennisfirst grantees:

Thanks CD, great insight on each player on that page too. I must've missed the news about Jazzi Plews undergoing double wrist surgery (ouch), makes much clearer why she had a woeful run at the beginning of 2013 and why we haven't heard from her since. Hope for a speedy recovery.

Allannah's at Nottingham - most of the kids there do schooling through the academy

Sophie's at Halton

Anastasia's based in Edinburgh

Holly's at Northwood - there is schooling there but believe Holly is home schooled.

I was wondering what had happened to Jazzi. I just assumed she'd given up. Hoping for a speedy recovery for her.

Was just about to post the same.

All won in straight sets

Have to say I want to see the Mikeeva v Burrage final to see who comes out on top

Bad ( short term ), but hopefully good ( in the longer term ) re Jazzi.

Certainly seems to have a lot of talent. All the best to her.

As far as I can see, with Anastasia defending her title points from last year this week ( actually Nottingham Week 2 at this time last year ), Jodie is already guaranteed to overtake Anastasia to be world number 2 in their age group*.

( * i.e. girls born 28th May 1999 :) There is unfortunately a pesky Russian, Evgeniya Levashova, with the same birthdate who is currently in the junior top 50 ! )

Well Done Lauryn.

Obviously haven't seen this weeks matches but based on scores it looks like maybe Jodie is the slight fav for the final?

Really just want to see these two push each other on to join Katie in the top 100
