But only in the singles. Not a Nederlander in sight in the doubles, thanks to the sterling efforts of our full and semi-GB teams, who between them beat three Dutch pairings.
Not every day you beat a Wimbledon men's doubles champ in straight sets in doubles!
That's Luke's 2nd title in a row, 6th overall (all with different partners - I wonder if he celebrates by having a tart for tea ) and Liam's 7th Futures doubles title - the previous few were with JWH, who was on the other side of the net today.

And, of course, both the Dutch lads are signed up for Tipton next week too - frankly, I think this is taking the whole Schengen agreement a bit too far! And we're not even part of it !!!!!
Mr Bambridge's doubles record since last October is fairly striking - all the more so given that he has not had a steady partnership. If you don't count the tournament in which his team withdrew/gave a walkover, he has played 11, W 5, F 3, SF 2 and only one early loss. Mr Broady (same rules) has played 8, W 2, F 2, SF 1. Not bad either, though not quite so striking.

Didn't you see the T-shirts? "Celebrating 325 years of the Glorious Revolution - we're back and ready to rule again!" (Not really. But it feels that way)
