A belated mention for Francesca Jones and Eliz Maloney who contested a Category 1 final in Portugal over the weekend. Fran came out on top and moves to 11 in the under 14 rankings. Photo of the pair in the Tennis Europe round-up www.tenniseurope.org/news_item.aspx

A Category 1 event was held in Treviso, Italy this week. Ewen Lumsden (Maia's brother) did well to reach the final unseeded, before losing to the third seed Marko Miladinovic 6-3 6-2 (Ewen also reached the doubles final with Aidan McHugh). Alexandra Hunter reached the quarters of the girls event
