I think we should just accept our positions in the relegation zone and and go down to div. 2 where, hopefully, all those audience members of Countless will be, the ones who'd never heard of Mandy, or Jade, or practically anyone else besides Laura and, possibly, Heather. We might stand a chance then . . .

 Clearly there was one chap who didn't make predictions this year, who would have topped that 36 points ;)

Comparing players actual standings against predictions Naomi comes top finishing 27% higher than the average prediction.

Heather and Katy Dunne were the only others to be above the average prediction.

Ignoring the single vote for EWS which was virtually spot on the most accurate predictions were for Katy Dunne.

I did think about removing a few of the injured players, poor Laura has some very large negative numbers and Lisa has fallen off the ranking list

Congratulations to Korriban. I see that betting against Laura paid dividends.

I shall put my own abysmal performance down to an inability to predict injuries (as opposed to my abysmal showing in the men's competition which was down to poor judgement regarding many of the players).

I do find it difficult to predict a poor season for anyone other than an older player who seems to be on the decline.
