The first of two prestigious year-ending tournaments in the USA sees Julian Cash and Lana Rush join Isabelle Wallace and Alex Sendegeya in the main draws. Qualifying is underway with a welcome reappearance of Anna Brogan, for the first time since Wimbledon, who battled her way through a tight 3 setter to join Katie Swan in round 2 of qualifying. Anna's second opponent recently reached the semifinal of a regional G1

(16) Katie Swan (GBR) d. Elizabeth Sutherland (USA) 6-2 6-0
Anna Brogan (GBR) d. (WC) Taylor Lederman (USA) 4-6 7-6(3) 7-5
Disappointment for both and tricky round 1 draws to boot - only Alex avoiding the seeds in round 1. His opponent has only won 2 matches in the 11 tournaments he has played in the second half of the year

R1 (L64)
Lana Rush (GBR) v (16) Ilka Csoregi (ROU)
(8) Anastasiya Komardina (RUS) v Isabelle Wallace (GBR)
Boys R1 (L64)
Alan Nunez Aguilera (MEX) v Alexander Sendegeya (GBR)
(13) Francis Tiafoe (USA) v Julian Cash (GBR)
Excellent win for Izzy against a strong opponent who has already won a 10K. Her Romanian opponent is last year's Les Petits As winner, who defeated Tornado Black (second seed here) in the final. Alex plays a very strong young American, winner of the last GA event in Osaka. The streaming is I think for the under 12 to under 16s. When I checked the entry lists some while ago there didn't appear to be British interest, though there could be a wildcard or qualifier.
Boys R2
Alexander Sendegeya (GBR) v (5) Michael Mmoh (USA)
Girls R2
Isabelle Wallace (GBR) v Jaqueline Adina Cristian (ROU)
